Welcome

Wizard Cottage
1/2 scale Wizard Cottage by Peggy Zorn

Eugene Miniatures Club is a hands-on “let’s make it” club in Eugene, Oregon.  Each month, we have a great time creating all types of miniatures, from furnished and electrified roomboxes to scale furniture and small accessories.  We often take advantage of club members’ skills and sometimes feature guest instructors for special projects.

The club organizes trips to miniature shows or to local historical buildings for inspiration. Sometimes, we just have a party! Our goal is to have fun while increasing our creative skills through miniatures.

We hope that you will become inspired to learn the art of miniatures or join us at our club meetings and share your miniature making expertise. If you have questions, contact us.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Our own Marcia Hudspeth won two awards at the annual NAME convention in Indianapolis. One was the Regional Ambassadors Award for her support of the NAME organization, the other was the Presidential Award for her time hosting the Zoom meetings. Needless to say she was in tears.

New Facebook Page
The Eugene Miniatures Club has a Facebook page. It is called Eugene Miniatures Club. Members will be posting projects to share.

Hybrid Meeting Schedule
Twice a month we will meet face-to-face. The monthly Monday evening and then the third Thursday at 11am. The remaining Thursdays will be by Zoom. Members receive a link a day or two prior to each scheduled meeting. If you would like to attend as a guest, just contact us for the location or link. Many of our project instructions and cut files from prior meetings are in Tutorials.

The club was featured in American Miniaturist magazine

Color Theory
Do you struggle making decisions about color? One of our members, Diane Scott, created a tutorial specifically designed to help you approach color choices with more confidence. The tutorial is on our Tools and Resources page.
