Eugene Miniatures Club is a hands-on “let’s make it” club in Eugene, Oregon. Each month, we have a great time creating all types of miniatures, from furnished and electrified roomboxes to scale furniture and small accessories. We often take advantage of club members’ skills and sometimes feature guest instructors for special projects.
The club organizes trips to miniature shows or to local historical buildings for inspiration. Sometimes, we just have a party! Our goal is to have fun while increasing our creative skills through miniatures.
Typically, we have a potluck dinner in December. Not this year. To make our December meeting special, each member received a Winter Holidays project booklet from DIY Doll Accessories, formerly Paper Minis. During the meeting we cut and assembled projects. It was fun to share how-to tips and our accomplishments. Thank you Ann Vanture of DIY Doll Accessories, it was a fun time for all.
Currently our meetings are held on Zoom, but that doesn’t prevent us from doing projects. You can find instructions and cut files from prior meetings in Tutorials.
Do you struggle making decisions about color? One of our members, Diane Scott, created a tutorial specifically designed to help you approach color choices with more confidence. The tutorial is on our Tools and Resources page.
